Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team at Barlow Provo - Service Experts. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will perform diagnostic, service, and installation of plumbing in residential and light-commercial environments. Your role will involve analyzing and resolving customer problems, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, assembling, installing, and repairing pipes and fixtures in accordance with specifications and codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve customer problems professionally and accurately.
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems by replacing defective washers, mending broken pipes, and opening clogged drains.
- Assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Locate and mark the position of pipe installations in structures.
- Inspect and test pipe systems for leaks and malfunctions.
- Interpret blueprints and building codes to plan and execute pipe installations.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with plumbing work training.
- Four years' experience in plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation.
- Plumbing and/or gas license as required by regulations.
- EPA and safety certifications.
- Proficiency in national, state, and local plumbing code regulations.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate necessary tools and equipment.
- Basic math, measurement, and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
