Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients, maintain professional standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient condition, report changes, and document all activities promptly.
• Participate in care planning, implement nursing actions, and achieve expected outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families on self-care techniques and disease prevention.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current state LPN license and CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
• Specific state requirements may apply.

Preferences

• Minimum 6 months of recent clinical care experience.
• Home health experience is a plus.

• Good organization and communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Must have English proficiency and be able to travel.
• Physically able to lift, reposition patients, and respond to emergencies.
