Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare's team. As an LPN/LVN, you will provide skilled nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders, ensuring high-quality patient care and confidentiality standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate and deliver quality patient care as per physician orders.
- Observe and assess patient condition, reporting any changes to supervisors or physicians.
- Document all care activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly.
- Participate in developing and updating nursing care plans.
- Implement appropriate nursing actions based on assessments.
- Provide patient and family education on disease processes and self-care techniques.
- Maintain infection control measures and comply with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with care standards.
- Additional state-specific requirements may apply.
Preferences
- Six months of recent clinical care experience.
- Home health experience is a plus.
