Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our Hospice & Palliative Care team at the McClure Miller Respite House. As an LNA, you will provide hands-on care to terminally ill patients, offer support to their families, and collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical and emotional care to patients at the McClure Miller Respite House or in their homes.
- Establish trusting relationships with patients based on empathy, understanding, and respect for their individual needs.
- Educate and support families, offering guidance and comfort during challenging times.
- Work collaboratively with a compassionate team to ensure the well-being of patients and families.
Qualifications
- Active Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
- A compassionate attitude and a dedication to providing empathetic care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
