Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to the care plan and physician's orders while upholding professional standards and confidentiality.
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes to supervisors and physicians.
- Document all activities, assessments, and coordination of care promptly.
- Implement nursing care plans and take necessary actions based on assessments.
- Recognize and address changes in patient needs to prevent risks.
- Comply with Aveanna policies, state regulations, and infection control measures.
- Educate patients and families on self-care techniques and disease prevention.
- Maintain competencies through educational programs and skill evaluations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
- CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.
- Additional state-specific requirements may apply.
Preferences
- Six months of recent clinical experience as a Licensed Nurse.
- Home health experience is a plus.
