Job Description
Join the Homewood Suites Portsmouth team as a Maintenance staff member. You will play a vital role in ensuring regular maintenance tasks are completed efficiently. From painting to light plumbing and preventive maintenance, your contributions will contribute to the upkeep of our property.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform various maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs, small repairs in guest rooms, equipment maintenance, plumbing repairs, HVAC system checks, and more.
- Respond promptly to alarms, determine emergency status, and report findings to the Chief Engineer.
- Be available for on-call rotation as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensing in a trade (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC) is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check.
