Job Description
Waupaca Foundry, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance professional to join our team at the Tell City, IN location. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities
- Successfully complete safety training and adhere to departmental safety policies and guidelines.
- Participate in our 6-S Program to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
- Make necessary adjustments to machinery to ensure optimal operations.
- Perform maintenance equipment repairs, fabrication, machine repair, and other assigned tasks.
Requirements/Skills
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
- Experience or actively pursuing education in a maintenance-related field.
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, blueprint reading, and more.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Positive work attitude, dependable, and adaptable to flexible work schedules.
