Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Medical Science Liaison to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines for patients worldwide. The Medical Science Liaison will serve as the primary scientific expert for Jazz products in the area of Sleep Medicine/Neuroscience, establishing and maintaining relationships with medical professionals and researchers. Additionally, the MSL will collaborate with various internal teams to provide scientific support, education, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide field-based scientific exchange and communication on FDA approved and pipeline products.
- Identify and maintain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Support clinical operations and investigator initiated research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and attend medical affairs activities.
- Develop solutions to problems, provide peer coaching, and manage projects effectively.
Requirements
- Effective scientific communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for scientific personnel.
- Ability to build trust and relationships with opinion leaders.
- Collaborative approach with internal and external partners.
- Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed.
Education and Experience
- Advanced doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or equivalent).
- 0-2 years of pharmaceutical industry or clinical/research experience.
- Preference for experience in Sleep Medicine or related fields.
