Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Microbiology Supervisor to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This is a day shift position where you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful daily operations of our microbiology department.
Responsibilities
- Enforce sectional and departmental policies to optimize operations.
- Monitor supply purchases and adjust personnel scheduling according to patient census.
- Act as a resource for technical personnel, overseeing training and competency evaluations.
- Lead problem-solving efforts within the department and maintain policy and procedure manuals.
- Evaluate and develop the technical performance of staff, fostering individual growth and goal achievement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- MT/MLT certification from ASCP required.
- 5-7 years of experience in a hospital lab setting as an MT/MLS.
