We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Microbiology Supervisor position at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a part of our team, you will be the key individual ensuring the effective operation of the microbiology department, overseeing policies, procedures, and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Enforce sectional and departmental policies for smooth operations.
• Manage supply purchases and personnel scheduling based on patient census.
• Act as a resource for technical personnel, including training and competency evaluation.
• Lead policy and procedure manual reviews, ensuring compliance with accrediting agencies.
• Evaluate and develop the technical performance of staff, supporting their goals and growth.
• Address and resolve departmental issues, keeping supervisors informed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MT/MLT certification from ASCP required.
• 5-7 years of MT/MLS experience in a hospital lab setting.
