Non CDL Driver I

Job Description

Jennings Builders Supply is seeking a Non CDL Driver I to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will deliver materials to job sites, inspect and maintain the truck, report shortages, and assist in loading materials. Responsibilities

• Operate safely and efficiently.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Organize and secure loads.
• Deliver and unload materials to customer satisfaction.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the yard and warehouse.
• Complete paperwork accurately, such as delivery tickets and credit slips.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Comply with company policies and guidelines.
• Participate in and complete assigned trainings.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience, lumber dumping experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to read orders and complete forms.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle conflict and potential problems constructively.
• Safe lifting techniques and physical stamina to lift heavy objects.
• Current operator's license and meets company driver qualification requirements.
• Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies.
