Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Nurse-LPN MDS Coordinator to join Genesis Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services. As an essential member of our team, you will play a vital role in the Resident Assessment Process by completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Care Area Assessments (CAAs) to ensure quality patient care and proper nursing center reimbursement.
Position Highlights
- Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring accurate completion, computer encoding, and electronic submission of the MDS.
- Contribute to the development of personalized resident Care Plans in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Train new team members on clinical content and electronic MDS completion.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing.
- Prior experience in healthcare facilities.
- Familiarity with nursing and medical practices, laws, and regulations in long-term care.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Windows.
- AccuMed experience preferred.
- Previous MDS Coordinator experience is a plus.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
