Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Assistant to join the team at ALDI in Frederick, MD. As an Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Operations and District Managers in various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operations of our stores and warehouses.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate relevant information on behalf of leadership to store personnel.
  • Create reports for management decision-making.
  • Handle operational customer complaints promptly.
  • Provide administrative and office support to management.
  • Assist in ordering office supplies and store equipment.
  • Maintain an efficient filing system and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Identify and report irregularities within the designated area.
  • Conduct training and cross-training within the responsibility area.
  • Interact with internal and external parties to maintain successful partnerships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Associate's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
