Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Operations Assistant to join the team at ALDI in Frederick, MD. As an Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Operations and District Managers in various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operations of our stores and warehouses.
Responsibilities
- Communicate relevant information on behalf of leadership to store personnel.
- Create reports for management decision-making.
- Handle operational customer complaints promptly.
- Provide administrative and office support to management.
- Assist in ordering office supplies and store equipment.
- Maintain an efficient filing system and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Identify and report irregularities within the designated area.
- Conduct training and cross-training within the responsibility area.
- Interact with internal and external parties to maintain successful partnerships.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Associate's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
