Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight during assigned shifts. Your role involves maintaining load plans, coordinating tasks, providing training, and fostering a positive and safe working environment. Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for loading/unloading freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and monitor performance.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Service center or transportation experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of freight handling techniques desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
