Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Over Night Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care for patients in accordance with care plans and physician orders, ensuring quality care delivery and adherence to regulatory standards. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, documenting patient interactions, and educating patients and families on self-care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and communicate changes to the supervisor and physician.
• Document all care activities and collaborate on care plans.
• Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessments to achieve expected outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and prevention strategies.
• Maintain compliance with Aveanna policies, regulations, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing School.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification and proficiency in clinical assessments.
• Specific experience requirements for different states and disciplines.

Preferences

• Six months of recent nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Home health experience is a plus.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to speak, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to travel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Various physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, etc.
• Strong sensory acuity and ability to react to emergency situations.
