Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Overnight LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our healthcare team at Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN, you will provide skilled nursing care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, following care plans and physicians' orders to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining professional standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in adherence to physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to supervisors/physicians.
• Document all care activities, assessments, and coordination promptly.
• Implement and update nursing care plans, taking necessary actions based on assessments.
• Ensure infection control measures and educate patients and families on self-care.
• Maintain competencies through education and skill evaluations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
• State-specific requirements apply.

Preferences

• 6 months recent clinical care experience as an LPN.
• Home health experience.
