Overnight LPN

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN, you will provide skilled nursing care, coordinate care plans, and ensure patient well-being under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Essential Job Functions

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in line with physician orders.
• Assess patient condition, report changes, and document care activities promptly.
• Implement nursing care plans and take appropriate actions to achieve outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, self-care, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain infection control measures and comply with regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current state LPN license and CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with care standards.
• State-specific experience and continuing education may be required.

Preferences

• Recent clinical care experience as an LPN preferred.
• Home health experience desirable.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English, travel, lift 50 pounds, reposition patients, and respond to emergencies.
• Physical agility for prolonged standing, bending, and other movements.

Environment

• Adaptability to various environments, potential exposure to allergens, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
