Job Description

We are hiring an Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Aveanna Healthcare's dedicated team. As an LPN, you will provide skilled nursing care while adhering to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries. Your responsibilities will include coordinating patient care, assessing patient conditions, and implementing care plans.

Essential Job Functions

• Coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Continuously assess patient condition and report changes to supervisors.
• Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly.
• Implement and update nursing care plans.
• Take appropriate nursing action to achieve expected outcomes.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient needs.
• Comply with Aveanna policies and regulations.
• Provide patient education and infection control.
• Maintain nursing competencies through education and training.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted state license as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

• Six months of recent clinical care experience as an LPN.
• Home health experience.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving and communication.
• Good organization and time management.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
• Must be able to travel and lift 50 pounds.
• Physical agility for patient repositioning and emergency response.
