Job Description
We are looking for a Part-Time Stocker/Cashier to join our collaborative team at ALDI. In this role, you will enhance the customer shopping experience by operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent service to our customers. This position offers variety and new challenges every day.
Position Details
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
As a team member, you will collaborate with colleagues, uphold security and confidentiality standards, and perform cashier or stocker responsibilities as assigned. Cashiers process purchases, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure cash-handling procedures are followed. Stockers maintain product availability, merchandise displays, and uphold safety measures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of retail products and services
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Education and Experience
Previous work experience in a retail setting is advantageous. An ideal candidate combines education and experience to meet job requirements.
