Job Description
We are looking for a Part-Time Stocker/Cashier to join our team at ALDI. As part of our collaborative environment, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent customer service. This position offers new challenges every day.
Position Type
Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborating with team members and communicating relevant information to direct leaders
- Upholding security and confidentiality of documents and data
- Performing cashier and stocker responsibilities as assigned
Cashier Responsibilities
- Processing customer purchases and stocking merchandise
- Providing exceptional customer service and feedback to management
- Participating in store inventory counts and adhering to cash policies
Stocker Responsibilities
- Stocking shelves and rotating products
- Following merchandising guidelines and operating machinery safely
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Knowledge of company products and services
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
