Job Description
We are looking for Part-Time Store Associates, Cashiers, and Stockers to join our team at Aldi, one of the nation's fastest-growing grocery stores. In these roles, you will embody the face of ALDI while working collaboratively with your team to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Whether you are managing products, ensuring the store's security, or assisting customers with their needs, you will play a crucial role in our store operations.
Position Details
- Position Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the direct leader.
- Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility.
- Perform cashier duties such as processing customer purchases, providing exceptional customer service, and adhering to cash policies.
- Stock shelves, rotate products, create merchandised displays, and operate machinery following safety procedures.
- Assist with curbside shopping orders and perform general cleaning duties.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of products and services offered by the company.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
