Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker at Aldi. Join our collaborative team environment and be part of enhancing the ALDI customer shopping experience. As a Cashier or Stocker, you'll handle various responsibilities such as operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers variety and new challenges every day.
Position Details
- Position Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the direct leader
- Uphold security and confidentiality of documents and data
- Perform cashier duties including processing customer purchases, stocking shelves, and ensuring exceptional customer service
- Perform stocker duties such as rotating products, merchandising displays, and operating machinery safely
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
