Job Description
We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the customer shopping experience by operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing exceptional customer service. Position Details
- Position Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and communicate with leadership
- Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data
- Operate registers, process customer purchases, stock shelves, and provide exceptional customer service
- Follow merchandising guidelines, rotate products, and maintain store inventory accuracy
- Uphold cash handling policies and procedures
- Operate machinery safely and follow all necessary procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and time management
- Work effectively in a team environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience desired
