Patient Care Tech / PCT Coronary Care

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This full-time night shift position in the Coronary Care Unit offers the opportunity to make a difference in patient care and work in a supportive environment. As a PCT, you will assist patients with daily activities, vital signs monitoring, specimen collection, and general patient support.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitor and report patient progress to medical staff.
• Obtain vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure and record patients' intake and output according to unit routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care.
• Preferred: Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or currently enrolled in nursing school.
