Patient Care Tech / PCT Med Surg

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Tech (PCT) for our Med Surg department at Hillcrest Hospital Cushing in Cushing, OK. This is a full-time position for the day shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients.
• Provide personal hygiene support such as bedpan assistance, baths, and showers.
• Administer adjunct care like ice packs and non-sterile dressings.
• Record vital signs and patient information accurately.
• Collaborate with nurses and staff to ensure patient well-being.
• Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Competency in at least two general areas of practice.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred: 2 years of acute or long-term care experience, approved CNA, PCT, or EMT-P certification.
