Join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center as a full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Medical Surgical department in Tulsa, OK. Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with registered nurses to provide safe patient care and support healing.
• Communicate effectively and carry out delegated tasks for patients under supervision.
• Document data, report patient concerns, and ensure safety precautions are followed.
• Record vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and report any changes promptly.
• Assist patients with mobility, daily tasks, specimen collection, and basic patient transport.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment.
• Participate in Purposeful Hourly Rounding and provide basic housekeeping duties.
• Perform direct and indirect patient care duties and clerical support.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification needed.
• Competency in at least two general areas of practice.
• Preferred: Minimum two years of acute or long-term care experience.
• Preferred: CNA, PCT, paramedic certification, or nursing school enrollment.
• Preferred: Proficiency in phlebotomy.
