Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for a motivated and experienced Payer Account Executive, National, specializing in Medicaid accounts. This remote position involves managing relationships with Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts to ensure market access for the company's innovative portfolio of products. As the National Payer Account Executive, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive market access strategies, conduct business reviews, and negotiate agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market access strategies for assigned Medicaid accounts.
  • Cultivate relationships with key individuals within target payers.
  • Coordinate Jazz activities and resources with target payers as the primary point of contact.
  • Collaborate across internal teams to implement market access strategies effectively.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and teams to overcome access obstacles and leverage opportunities.
  • Educate target payers on Jazz products and their value proposition.
  • Create and maintain detailed account plans and present them during business reviews.
  • Negotiate rebate agreements consistent with Jazz's guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical experience with recent success in Account Management (Medicaid focus).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships within National Accounts.
  • Excellent leadership skills with cross-organizational project management experience.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare, formulary development, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in core competencies like Business Acumen, Communication, and Decision Making.
  • Bachelor's degree required (MBA, JD, or PharmD preferred).
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
