Job Description

The Pool Maintenance Tech at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all pools and related areas to the highest standard. This role involves reporting all queries or concerns to the Pool Maintenance Supervisor/Water Treatment Manager to ensure proper maintenance according to the hotel's standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a warm, friendly demeanor at all times.
• Effectively communicate with all employees and guests courteously.
• Prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Handle guest and employee encounters in a service-oriented manner.
• Attend hotel meetings and trainings as required.
• Comply with hotel standards for safe and efficient operations.
• Maximize productivity efforts and assist in problem-solving.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient in water life safety techniques.
• Ability to lift, carry, and exert force as needed.
• Stand during an entire shift.
• Effective problem-solving skills in the workplace.
• Maintain proper chemical and temperature levels in the pool.
• Perform plumbing repairs and maintain pipe fixtures.
• Ensure pool cleanliness and log daily readings.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.
