Private Duty Nurse LPN

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Private Duty Nurse LPN to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with their care plan and physician's orders. Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Assess and report changes in patient condition to supervisors as appropriate.
• Document all activities and nursing care in a timely manner.
• Implement and update nursing care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• CPR certification and proficiency in clinical assessments.

Preferences

• Six months of recent experience in clinical care settings.
• Home health experience is a plus.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail and time management.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and reposition patients.
• Must be able to travel and respond to emergency situations.
