Private Duty Nurse RN

Job Description

We are currently looking for dedicated Private Duty Nurses (LPNs/RNs) to join our compassionate team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide one-to-one care to patients in the comfort of their homes, making a meaningful impact in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient conditions, communicate changes, and update care plans.
• Document all care activities accurately and promptly.
• Implement infection control measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Educate patients and families on self-care techniques and disease management.
• Maintain compliance with Aveanna policies, state regulations, and Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

• Active nursing license in good standing.
• CPR certification with hands-on BLS training.
• Minimum of 6 months nursing experience preferred.
