Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide expert care in the home health setting to medically fragile pediatric and/or adult patients. Responsibilities include delivering specialized care, coordinating with families and healthcare providers, administering medications, and building positive relationships with patients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and/or adult patients.
- Coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments as ordered.
- Build positive relationships through compassionate and courteous service.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week daytime orientation and patient field orientation.
- Previous home health and/or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience preferred.
