Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide expert care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in the comfort of their homes. Our nurses play a vital role in administering medications, providing medical support such as tracheostomy maintenance and ventilator assistance, and coordinating care with healthcare providers and families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized care to medically fragile patients.
- Coordinate care in collaboration with families and healthcare professionals.
- Build positive relationships through compassionate and responsive service.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week orientation in our Camden office and complete patient field orientation.
- Prior experience in home health or Long Term Care is a plus.
- Preference for candidates with tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
