Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse seeking an opportunity to provide one-on-one care to patients in the comfort of their homes? ChristianaCare is looking for a dedicated Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our HomeHealth team. In this role, you will deliver expert medical care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including administering medications, tube feedings, tracheostomy maintenance, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to medically fragile patients.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Establish positive and compassionate relationships with patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Completion of a two-week orientation at our Camden office.
- Prior home health or Long Term Care experience is advantageous.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is preferred.
