Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse who enjoys providing one-on-one care to patients in a home health setting? ChristianaCare is seeking a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our HomeHealth team. Our Private Duty Nurses offer expert medical care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across Delaware, including administering medications, handling gastric tube feedings, tracheostomy maintenance, and providing ventilator support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized care to medically fragile patients.
- Coordinate care among patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Establish positive relationships through compassionate and courteous service.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Attend a two-week daytime orientation at our Camden office and patient field orientation.
- Previous home health or Long Term Care experience is beneficial.
- Preference for tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
