Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare, one of the nation's largest home health care providers, is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. As an RN with Aveanna Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care, adhering to care plans and physician orders, and ensuring patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in line with physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient condition, report changes to supervisors and physicians.
• Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
• Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessments and expected outcomes.
• Recognize and address changes in patient needs to prevent risks.
• Maintain infection control measures and educate patients and families on self-care.
• Stay updated on nursing competencies through educational programs and skill evaluations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with care policies.
• Additional state-specific and discipline-specific requirements may apply.

Preferences

• Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse.
• Home health experience preferred.
