Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an RN, you will provide skilled nursing care following care plans and physician orders, ensuring patient needs are met while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Continuously assess patient condition and report changes to the supervisor/physician.
• Document activities, assessments, and care plans promptly.
• Implement nursing actions based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
• Recognize changes requiring intervention to prevent risks.
• Adhere to Aveanna policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

• Minimum 6 months of recent clinical care experience.
• Home health experience preferred.

• Effective problem-solving and communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel and lift 50 pounds.
• Various physical activities with good sensory acuity.
