Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a member of the Mother and Baby Unit, you will provide exemplary post-partum care, education, and lactation consultation to families after birth. With an annual average of 2,200 to 2,300 deliveries, you will play a critical role in supporting new mothers and infants during this special time.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-quality post-partum care to mothers and infants.
- Provide education on baby care, breastfeeding, and general wellness.
- Offer lactation consultation services to support breastfeeding.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Strong passion for maternal and infant care.
- Experience in lactation support is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
