The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves working in the alternative care unit at Shep 3 North, catering to long-term care patients awaiting placement. As an RN, you will need to demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in charge nurse duties. Long-term care experience is preferred for this role.

Unit Description

Shep 3 North has 18-20 long-term care patients with diverse diagnoses, providing an environment akin to that of a long-term care facility.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities.
• Previous charge nurse experience is advantageous.
