Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care following developed care plans and physician orders. The role involves delivering quality patient care, monitoring patient condition, documenting care activities, and educating patients and families on self-care strategies.

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in line with physician orders.
  • Monitor and assess patient condition, reporting changes as needed.
  • Document all care activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly.
  • Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
  • Take necessary nursing actions based on assessment.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient needs.
  • Adhere to Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, and infection control measures.
  • Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing School (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate).
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with care standards.

Preferences

  • Recent clinical care experience as a Licensed Nurse.
  • Experience in home health.

Physical Requirements

  • Fluency in English.
