Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an RN in the Cardiac Vascular Care Unit, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating care for post-procedural extended recovery and observational care patients. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes, ensuring high-quality care delivery and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate care for post-procedural and observational patients.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Direct and guide the delivery of nursing care and patient education.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and collaborate with other healthcare disciplines.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• BLS or ACLS certification (ACLS required within 6 months of hire).
• Completion of Cardiac Rhythm and Critical Care courses within specified timeframes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
