Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. Operating with 11 beds and extra hall beds to manage patient surges, this fast-paced unit requires nurses with at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience (Critical Care experience preferred). ACLS and PALS certification are necessary, while TNCC training is encouraged and provided. Additionally, nurses will receive education on ESI/triage, patient sedation monitoring, and de-escalation techniques. The unit offers a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus (pro-rated for part-time positions).
Requirements
- 1 year of Med/Surg experience.
- ACLS and PALS certification.
- Preferred Critical Care experience.
- Willingness to learn and develop with provided education and certifications.
