Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Post Acute Unit at Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing. As part of our team, you will provide skilled nursing care and personalized assistance to patients to support their recovery and independence following surgery and hospitalization.
Responsibilities
- Deliver goal-directed and compassionate nursing care to patients with various medical conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic support and education to patients and their families to facilitate a successful transition back home.
- Participate in routine therapy services and assist in patient rehabilitation activities.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Vermont.
- Experience in acute care or post-acute settings is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging healthcare environment.
