Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in providing skilled nursing care to patients, following care plans and physicians' orders while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards. Competitive pay rates ranging from $30-35/hr based on case and acuity level.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient condition, report changes, and document all activities promptly.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
• Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments and achieve expected outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license.
• Current CPR certification and proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
• State-specific requirements may apply, varying from pediatrics to oncology experience.

Preferences

• Recent clinical care experience, preferably in a home health setting.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail, time management, effective problem-solving, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, travel, and perform various physical tasks.
