Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As an RN, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. You will provide nursing care, patient education, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care standards are maintained.
Unit Description
The RN may be required to float to Psychiatry and the Behavioral Decision Unit in the Emergency Care Center as needed.
Education/Skills Required
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- Prior mental health experience preferred.
- Experience with group facilitation preferred.
- Clear, concise, empathetic communication skills.
- Meets physical/pre-placement screening requirements.
- Documentation of no record of Child Abuse, Neglect, and/or maltreatment.
On-Call
Not required.
