We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Shep 3 North - Alternative Care Unit in The University of Vermont Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new unit that provides care to long-term patients awaiting placement. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and leadership skills, with a preference for those with charge nurse experience. Long-term care experience is also desirable.

Unit Description

Shep 3 North is a unique care unit with 18-20 long-term care patients with diverse diagnoses. The unit's environment resembles that of a long-term care facility.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience is a plus.
