Registered Nurse - Vascular Access

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Vascular Access team at the University of Vermont Health Network. As a key member of the nursing professionals, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients by performing procedures such as peripheral intravenous catheter and PICC insertions, vascular access device maintenance, and clinical interventions. Your commitment to quality care and family-centered approach will be highly valued in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform insertion of peripheral intravenous catheters and PICCs using vascular visualization devices.
• Consult with staff on vascular access devices and associated complications.
• Maintain vascular access devices and manage clinical interventions for PICC issues.
• Deliver unit-based education and contribute to quality improvement projects.

Requirements

• Prior experience in IV skills preferred.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality family-centered patient care.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Incentives
