Retail Sales Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in keeping our store well-organized, assisting customers, and providing exceptional service. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $18.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Offer top-notch customer service to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters to the management team.
• Assist in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling.
• Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting up to 45 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with retail experience as a bonus.
