Sales Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills
• Experience in a retail environment preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
