Salary Range: $84,000 - $139,000 per year

Job Description

As a Senior Company Licensing Specialist at American Family Insurance, you will play a crucial role in providing expert licensing guidance on state insurance department company licensing requirements. You will manage company license applications, ensuring compliance for corporate transactions, expansions, mergers, name changes, and more. Reporting to the Manager, Company Licensing, you will be responsible for coordinating, preparing, and filing state insurance department company license applications. Your expertise will be vital in monitoring corporate governance activities and providing guidance to various business areas.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and files state insurance department company license applications for corporate transactions.
  • Provides expert licensing guidance to Enterprise business areas.
  • Conducts analysis to identify underwriting companies for new licensing initiatives.
  • Builds relationships across the insurance industry and regulatory authorities.
  • Conducts regulatory research and analyzes law sources.
  • Administers company service of process and registered agents for surplus lines authority companies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in providing customer-driven solutions and support.
  • Solid understanding of insurance industry licensing regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in licensing regulatory research and compliance of regulated insurance entities.
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
