Job Description
You will provide expert licensing guidance to business areas on state insurance department company licensing requirements. Conduct licensing analysis and identify underwriting companies for new initiatives. Manage and file license applications for AmFam Group insurance companies. Report to the Manager, Company Licensing.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, prepare, and file state insurance company license applications for corporate transactions.
- Monitor corporate governance activities requiring license applications and DOI notifications.
- Provide expert licensing guidance to Enterprise business areas.
- Analyze current licensing status and identify underwriting companies for new initiatives.
- Build relationships with business areas, insurance departments, and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct regulatory research and analyze law sources.
- Administer company service of process and designation of registered agents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
- Solid knowledge of insurance industry licensing regulatory requirements.
- Experience with licensing regulatory research and compliance.
- Experience managing large complex projects and working with executive leadership.
